Minden is in Haliburton County in a region that is known as Ontario's cottage country.

 

 

 

Coming from the Toronto region travel East on Hwy 401 until you reach the exit for 35/115Hwy which is located on the edge of Bowmanville & Newcastle. Proceed North on 115 until reaching the cut-off for Hwy 35 to Lindsay.

Upon taking the Hwy 35 Exit you will travel North to Lindsay. You will then make a left turn on the main street of Lindsay which is Kent Street.

Travel West on Kent Street past the Hospital and Canadian Tire Plaza. You will see an exit on your right-hand side that says 35 North, Take the 35 North ramp and continue North on Hwy 35.

You will pass through the towns of Cameron, Rosedale, Coboconk and then Norland. Continue North until arriving in Minden. Upon arriving in Minden. The Tim Horton's is located on HWY 35 in Minden On the left hand side of the road across from the OPP Station.

While traveling North from Norland it is suggested that you keep a sharp eye out for deer and moose on the road especially during the hours of dusk and dawn.
